Notes
1 The battery percussion parts in these arrangements were created by me: a non-percussionist. They are playable, but they are also basic, under the assumption that you have a percussion instructor/arranger who can write better battery parts (an XML file of the parts can be sent to assist your percussion arranger).
2 Bari Sax, Bass Guitar, and Drumset are included in these arrangements for use by pep bands.
Purchase Options
Copyright Note
These marching band arrangements are copyrighted and require a custom arrangement license in addition to the purchase of the music. The music’s rights holders (not me as the arranger) set and charge these licensing fees, which vary based on the publisher, composer or performer, ensemble size, and the type of organization requesting the arrangement. Most licenses cost between $100 and $400 per piece. You can request them directly from the publisher or go through a clearinghouse like Tresóna Music. In some cases, you can secure a license directly from the composer.
To avoid extra fees and expenses, consider performing music that is in the Public Domain. This is music that is no longer under copyright, and can be arranged and performed without paying any additional licensing fees. For more music for marching band, check out my other arrangements – everything from jazz and orchestral music to 80s classics like Careless Whisper .
